TOEFL Listening Book - Barron's TOEFL iBT Internet-Based Test, 12th Edition

Barron's TOEFL iBT Internet-Based Test, 12th Edition (2006)

Description:

The TOEFL is now offered as an Internet-based test, or iBT, and the new version of Barron's TOEFL guide and accompanying software program have been completely revised and updated to replicate the new format. The guide presents seven complete TOEFL iBT tests with explanations or examples for all questions, along with sample essays and spoken responses. The creator also provides a basic orientation to the new TOEFL iBT and an overview of educational skills, including note-taking, paraphrasing, summarising and synthesising. There is also an overview of language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It features seven on-screen TOEFL iBT tests that simulate accurate testing circumstances and provide automated scoring.

Personal opinion:

- This book is also overly used by many though it isn't up-to-date.
- It is easy to find online now, and the software has great practice.
